Jody Ball
Executive Director
Jody is a fully qualified and experienced journalist with over 14 years experience in communications, having worked variously as a reporter, editor and publisher before moving into PR. 

Working as a consultant for a major global PR and ad agency, Jody gained invaluable experience in many fields of ethical medicine, including HIV and infectious diseases, neurology and movement disorders, cardiology, women’s health and erectile dysfunction.  She has been involved in product, strategic and corporate communications for many of the world’s major pharmaceutical companies at UK and international levels. In addition she has diverse market research, patient advocacy and government liaison experience, and has set up and run an international network of independent advertising and PR agencies to research, pre-market and launch an important new antiretroviral to the global HIV marketplace.

Jody was also responsible for the tenecteplase (TNK) programme for Boehringer Ingelheim.  TNK is a clot bluster for AMI and, as part of this campaign, Jody initiated a programme of activities that culminated in a highly successful, large scale meeting involving the Modernisation Agency, DoH, CHD Collaboratives and emergency services.

Jody has a BA (Hons) in English Studies and Physical Anthropology, an MA and an MPhil in Victorian Poetics and an NCTJ Prof Cert in newspaper journalism.
